Madeline MacGregor is an artist and writer living in Oregon’s Willamette Valley Countryside, Her whimsical and colorful “Barnyard Idioms” series of paintings feature ‘anatomically incorrect’ creatures thriving in a fantasy world—where even snakes sport a toothy grin.
I should have the new 2023 Art Calendars available for purchase the second week of October. Each month features a different painting from my animal series. I have also included a 2024 year ahead single page grid and an artist statement.
Shipping is included, even for multiple copies. I anticipate these to make great holiday gifts. Limited quantities, so if you pay me via PayPal, Square, Apple Pay or Venmo, I can ship them as soon as they arrive. Price including shipping is $25 USD. You may email me at: email@example.com to confirm the price. Cheers!
I am launching a reboot of my website in opposition to Etsy’s continued gouging of its independent makers and artists. Over the next few months I will be loading this site with all my latest work, including “The Guardian Series,” “The Alphabet Series,” “The Pandemic Series,” and other work from 2019 through 2022.
I am working to proved simple shipping and payment options, something I’ve struggled technically with. Having said that, it is my intention to now resolve that and make your shopping experience on my site easy. My goal is to provide access to affordable art for all.
I hope you stick around to take the journey with me!
Hope you can make it to my pop-up art gallery at the Albany Regional Museum for First Friday in Downtown Albany. Come early and enjoy dinner and a glass of wine at one of our great bistros and enjoy extended hours shopping at many of our independent shops and galleries. I’ll have plenty of notecards, totes, giclee’ prints, and original paintings for sale.
Welcome to all my friends and new customers. I hope you’ll find something here to tickle your funny bone as well as an affordable gift for you or someone else. You can shop for notecards and grocery totes in the online store (under the menu), or contact me about giclee’ prints and original paintings of the designs you see featured.
Part of my philosophy is to pay back in spirit (and donations) to our community. A portion of every sale no matter how large or small, goes into a special account set aside for twice yearly donations to food banks and to local animal rescue. These two charitable causes are near and dear to my heart. As a single parent, my little family struggled through some pretty tough times, yet help always appeared from the most unexpected quarters. It only seems fitting to use my art to pay it forward.
Upcoming announcements and places to buy direct

Right now we’re launching the website with a few caveats in regards to shipping. I’m over the moon that we have an easy and secure way for you to actually shop and calculate postage through Woo Commerce.
However, and it’s a big one, if you want to purchase multiple items and are unsure about shipping charges, please contact me first (include your email) and I will invoice you for your total purchase using Square. Square accepts multiple payment options at no extra cost to you.
The built-in USPS shipping calculator can be a little finicky, but for the most part, is working, including payment for multiple items. If I find that you’ve overpaid, I will refund you any overpayment.
